Chama, New Mexico Ghost Tales


Daytime in Chama, New Mexico is just the same as daylight anywhere else in this country, but when the gloomy shadows of the nighttime float in the living dead appear. Things go down around here that can't be rationalized. Not everyone trusts in the accounts the local residents tell, but everyone who resides in Chama is not alive.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

The phantom of a gentleman with half his head gone is rumored to have been distinguished on a few occasions struggling to express something in Chama Historical Marker around midnight. One of the locals decisively declares that this ghost loves terrifying foolhardy folks who come trying to locate ghosts in Chama.

The phantom of a young woman sporting a blood-covered prom dress may occasionally be seen having a seat on a couch in a residence close to Chama.

A beheaded lady has regularly been perceived looking at the panorama from the top of El Cerro late at night. Anyhow, this is an antagonistic ghost
 
    that you shouldn't go seeking.

The spirit of a young girl is regularly made out drinking water from Cebadilla Spring before dawn.

A character with a skeleton face wearing shady robes has purportedly been spotted on many instances very late at night chasing a passing pickup on a shady road right next door to Chama. In any event, it's a creepy phantom that should be stayed away from.
