El Rito, New Mexico Ghost Tales


Most of the locals in El Rito, New Mexico are happily unaware of the terrible riddles this town possesses; this place has a good share of ghosts. Couches move around, shrieks coming from no-place. Skeptics don't have faith in the local ghost tales, but scary things indisputably occur here in El Rito in the dark hours.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

The spirit of a planter wearing a hat has allegedly been noticed on many instances looking at the view from the apex of Sierra Negra in the early morning hours before sunrise. It's been argued that this particular phantom is probably the undead phantom of a local resident who used to live here in El Rito. No matter what, it's a chilling ghost that any commonsensical person would not want to encounter.

The ghost of a young-looking air force pilot may be noticed very often looking through apartment windows in El Rito at night. According to the locals, this phantom is the tormented soul of a long forgotten El Rito local
 
    person. Whatever folks state, it is in all certainty a creepy phantom that you shouldn't go seeking.

A lady with a green face has occasionally been made out shining a kerosene lamp in the middle of Arroyo del Cerrito Negro. One thing is for guaranteed, this spirit undoubtedly is chilling; one that is preferably not interrupted.

A man
  having a knife in his head is every now and then seen down near Ojito Carrizo on a dark night terrifying folks. Based on what the people who live here declare, this ghost is the ghost of a visitor that was murdered while passing through El Rito many years ago.

The ghost of a mailman is known to have been seen on a few instances scrutinizing Angel Canyon in detail late in the night.
