Hernandez, New Mexico Ghost Tales


There's nothing extraordinary on the subject of Hernandez, New Mexico while the sun shines, but this is a town where the undead stride the residential roads in the moonlight hours. Couches slide about, talk from nowhere. A number of locals say these testimonies are not true, but seeing is believing and if you stay for the night here in Hernandez, you could spot a phantom.

The ghost of a young-looking
  man wearing a jacket has regularly been distinguished gazing at the sight from the highest spot of Cerrito de la Baca after midnight.

A decapitated gentleman is frequently made out at night drifting down Arroyo de Agua. A number of of the people who live in this town claim this ghost can be the soul of a local person who passed on here in Hernandez long ago.

A female with her head and right arm and right leg severed has purportedly been made out on several occasions hauling a body over rocks in Pueblo of San Juan Historical Marker in the early morning hours. One thing is for guaranteed,
this is an unlikable spirit that is preferably not disturbed.

The ghost of a guy hauling a blood-covered machete may regularly be spotted by Sebastian Martin Black Mesa Site Four Dam at night looking at the water. According to the residents, this ghost may well be a celebrated yesteryear native of Hernandez. Anyway, it's a chilling ghost that you don't want to come across before dawn.
