La Loma, New Mexico Ghost Tales


During the daylight hours La Loma, New Mexico is identical to any other American city, but this city has menacing mysteries veiled in the shadows. Ghosts are so routine here; many folks who live here don’t even lose sleep about it anymore. Disbelievers don't have faith in the local ghost stories, but La Loma is bursting with tormented spirits just waiting to freak you out.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

The ghost of a tough lumberjack carrying a large axe is occasionally spotted exploring Canon Blanco in detail very late at night.

The terrifying ghost of a Hun has allegedly been perceived on a handful of instances up on the highest spot of Mesa Chupinas flickering a kerosene lamp. In any event, this is an unsympathetic ghost that you would not want to encounter on a dark night.

A creepy skeleton may once in a while be distinguished pondering at Alamito Springs in the early morning hours. Several of the locals assert this phantom is that of a person who had
 
    a home here in La Loma in the past.

A guy that shifted shape into a vampire was distinguished in Chupinas Rincon Pasture at night burying a body by a sizeable rock. When perceived the ghost came close to the bystander who then ran off. If you talk to the locals, this ghost likes scaring foolhardy people who come trying to find ghosts in La Loma.

A
  glowing human form materialized calling out names at Hormigoso Diversion Dam around midnight. This specific ghost has been observed repeatedly in this area. Based on what the folks who live here claim, this phantom could be the soul of a person who lived here who passed on here in La Loma many years ago.
