Lakewood, New Mexico Ghost Tales


The daylight hours in Lakewood, New Mexico are the same as daylight hours anywhere else, but under the surface there are remarkable things going down. Ghosts are so typical around here; loads of people who live here don’t even lose sleep about it anymore. Some people who live here assert these reports are lies, but if you have the guts to stay an extra day in Lakewood, you could see a ghost for yourself.

The ghost of a zinc-miner may now and then be spotted mounted on a pony next to a road in close proximity to Lakewood. In
 
    any case, this ghost certainly is terrifying; one that you wouldn't wish to bump into in the early morning hours.

The ghost of a gentleman clad as a handy man was noticed quite near the entrance
  to Brantley Lake State Park talking into the air. The ghost didn't appear to be troubled by the bystanders. If you listen to the local residents, this ghost may be the spirit of a local resident who passed on here in Lakewood many years ago.

A female with a fairly see-through body was seen at McMillan Dam at midnight trying to locate something. The phantom saluted the onlooker. If you listen to what the folks who live here allege, this ghost might be a renowned yesteryear resident of Lakewood. Regardless of what, it's a creepy ghost that any normal person wouldn't want to encounter.

The phantom
of a security guard with a bullet hole in his forehead became visible cleaning a bloody shirt in Bubbling Spring in the early morning hours. The phantom was gobbled up by the air after being made out.

The spirit of an aged guy with a long white beard was observed scrutinizing Fourmile Draw in detail late at night. Panic stricken by the onlookers the ghost faded away into the shadows.
