The phantom of an elderly prospector with a big mustache and a hook instead of his hand was witnessed floating in the air like a helium balloon in Maljamar. The appearance of the eye witness alarmed the ghost who then disappeared. The phantom of an aged woman holding a gun was spotted in a shoe store in the Maljamar vicinity. The ghost talked about revenging a murder. Several of the people who live here claim this ghost is probably the undead ghost of a local resident who used to live here in Maljamar. The ghost of an old Indian chief has often been perceived attempting to snatch something in Carlsbad Caverns National Park at the ranger station. Any which way, it undeniably is a bloodcurdling ghost that you do not want to encounter around midnight.
