One of the local residents steadfastly declares that this ghost likes terrifying folks who come looking for ghosts in Ocate. The ghost of a youthful air force pilot may from time to time be noticed late at night checking out Curry Canyon in detail. A woman with a sea-green face was spotted swallowing water from Black Mesa Spring before dawn. Panicked by the watchers the ghost departed into the night. A number of people claim this ghost can be the spirit of a local resident who passed on here in Ocate some time ago. In any case, it's a creepy ghost that you shouldn't go trying to locate.
