While the sun shines Quemado, New Mexico is the same as any other United States town, but some former people from the past have returned to this place. The ghosts of this city don’t leave anyone unalarmed. Folks who have never spent the night in this city will say to you it's all just superstition, but the undead souls of Quemado are all too real.
These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.
The ghost of a civil war warrior is repeatedly distinguished gazing at the water by Perea Dam after midnight. One of the people who live here confidently says that this ghost is the ghost of a visitor that was murdered while passing through Quemado some time ago.
The ghost of a seriously charred lady has been perceived on frequent occasions observing the vista from the highest spot of Cimarron Mesa after midnight. Anyhow, it's a menacing ghost that is better not messed with.
The ghost of a man with words engraved into his foot may be noticed repeatedly on a dark night examining Cottonwood Canyon in detail.
