go back to the creek reminiscing that day. I am convinced that the legend is true.

When we went to camp out there the next night we went for a ride. Nobody was there, our camp site was messed up. We saw women by the river crying, then it started raining and thundering. The spooky tale is so true at Redrock.

When I was a small girl, the kids of the town used to tell me about the ''Llorona''. Legend tells that she was a young woman who was in love, her love died, and she died of a broken heart. Every time it rains, if you go down to the creek, you can hear her cries and see her stacking rocks.
I didn't believe it, so I had to go down there, and sure enough, I heard the cries, and there was a stack of rocks near the bank of the creek. The next day I went back to the same spot and the rocks were gone..|

Comment by Gabe: This story is actually from the Chino Mine. It was a girl who drowned her kids . You can still hear her cries all over the grant county.
