I live on the block on 12th N Gold St. There is this old boarded up house that's been there since the early 1900s; my great grandfather used to live there, and ever since I was little I was told of a story that this area where I live used to be a junk yard and one day I guess there was a little boy playing in the junk yard and an accident happened which decapitated the child and supposedly he still roams the area.
But ever since I was little I've heard things inside the house and seen dark figures in the shadows; bad feeling as well when you walk by and also there is an old well supposedly in the back inside the house.

I lived in Ritch Hall my first semester of college at WNMU. My roommate saw Patty in our room one night. She went to our room to grab something and told me she saw someone in a red dress sitting on her bed. She thought it was me and asked me to get off her bed. When there was no response, she said she was scared and went to her friend's room until I got back. I was at a play rehearsal that night. I did a blessing on the room, and Patty didn't visit after that.
However, Patty seemed upset with me. When I would come home early in the morning from my bf's dorm I would walk in the front and be greeted by a blood-curdling scream. I asked the first person I saw if they heard that, and they had no idea what I was talking about. Patty seemed to do this about once a week. There is also a spirit that is in the basement. This was not Patty, as she pretty much has free roam of the dorm. This was something that stayed only in the basement. It never approached me, but I felt it every time I went to the laundry room. It was a different energy than Patty. There is also something very disturbing living in a room on the third floor. It's in a room at the end of the hallway facing Centennial Hall. I have never felt more terrified than being near that room.
As the museum located next to Ritch Hall, I have also seen the little boy running in the windows around the top parameter of the museum. I saw another night coming home from rehearsal. I knew it was him because his head was small, and he was stopping in the window and moving around like in play. My cousin worked at the museum, and she also told me that there is a young couple that haunts one of the bathrooms by making out. Thought that was kinda cute.
I also wonder if anyone has any stories of the Murray Hotel and the old hospital that has since been knocked down. I have had some experiences there as well.

Comment by Richard: I'm originally from SC. Back in 1980 I was at a quincenierra at the Murray hotel. I was in the bathroom by myself using the urinal when a tall man dressed in an old black suit with atop hat walked in went behind me as if he was going into the bathroom stall and disappeared.
Till this day I cannot get that out of my mind.
