The ghost of a destitute gentleman was witnessed in Bull-of-the-Woods Pasture late at night hiding a body by a sizeable rock. The ghost waved to the onlooker. Many residents declare this phantom could be the spirit of a local resident who passed away here in Valdez in the past. No matter what, it's a bloodcurdling spirit that you don't want to encounter late at night. A scary creature has regularly been perceived glancing across La Cal Basin at night.
