Valdez, New Mexico Ghost Tales


Valdez, New Mexico is an apparently regular location as long as the sun is in the sky, but undeceased spirits of the olden days in this city don't seem to be going to pack up. There have been lots of incidents with individuals from a parallel world. Several local residents claim there are no spirits, but the undead spirits of Valdez are all too real.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

The ghost of an elderly Indian chief came into view around midnight exploring Gavilan Canyon in detail. The appearance of the observer alarmed
 
    the ghost who then faded away.

The phantom of an elderly cleaning lady became visible drifting along Deer Creek before sunrise. The ghost spoke of revenging a slaying. Several of the folks who
  live in this town allege this phantom is that of a local resident who had a house here in Valdez some decades ago.

The spirit of a young woman dressed as a maid was spotted on the highest spot of Bull-of-the-Woods Mountain late at night studying the view. The watcher became frightened and escaped. If you talk to the locals, this ghost takes pleasure in scaring foolish folks who come searching for ghosts in Valdez.

The ghost of a destitute gentleman was witnessed in Bull-of-the-Woods Pasture late at night hiding a body by a sizeable rock. The ghost waved to the onlooker. Many residents
declare this phantom could be the spirit of a local resident who passed away here in Valdez in the past. No matter what, it's a bloodcurdling spirit that you don't want to encounter late at night.

A scary creature has regularly been perceived glancing across La Cal Basin at night. Residents here say that this ghost may very well be a celebrated days gone by resident of Valdez.
