Spirits are so usual around here; a lot of locals don’t even worry about it any longer. Some locals argue these testimonies are not true, but Fort Duchesne is jam-packed with stressed spirits just waiting to spook you.

The phantom of a lady with a knife in her heart is repeatedly noticed by a lady canoeing in a river in close proximity to Fort Duchesne. Folks here allege that this phantom is that of a local who settled here in Fort Duchesne many years ago.
