A decapitated female is occasionally made out surveying the panorama from the summit of Currant Creek Mountain at the stroke of midnight. The ghost of an adolescent girl has been said to have been distinguished on a few occasions at Beer Spring at midnight facing the watcher. A local resident claims that this ghost loves terrifying unwise people who come looking       for ghosts in Fruitland. In any case, it is certainly a frightening ghost that any sane person wouldn't want to meet. The ghost of a lady having half her head missing can every now and then be observed in Currant Creek Wildlife Management Area late at night staring angrily at the watcher. A lady having a sword in her head was perceived   yelling at the witness to stay away underneath a streetlamp in Fruitland. The ghost saluted the witness. One of the folks who live here strongly declares that this spirit could be the soul of a local who died here in Fruitland many years ago.
