Things happen in this town that cannot be explained. A number of local residents allege there are no ghosts, but everyone who stays in Garden City is not alive. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The phantom of an awfully mangled hunter hauling a dead coyote has allegedly been witnessed on frequent instances riding on a donkey down a road in close proximity to Garden City. A man who lives here asserts that       this phantom is the phantom of a vacationer that was killed while driving through Garden City long ago. The spirit of a youthful lady with a wire around her neck may sometimes be spotted walking   through a building outside Garden City. A gentleman devoid of a head has often been witnessed at Ideal Beach attempting to seize something. An enormously chilling ghost is regularly witnessed in Bear Lake State Park on a dark night dragging a cadaver over rocks. One of the people who live here steadfastly declares that this ghost is that of a person who settled here in Garden City many years ago. The ghost of an old prospector with a large beard and an eye patch has purportedly been witnessed on one or two instances startling folks by Bear Lake State Park. Either way, it's sure a menacing ghost that you wouldn't wish to run into late in the night.
