Hill Afb, Utah Ghost Tales I experienced audio ghost apparitions while living in a house on Hill AFB, Utah. I assumed I was becoming schizophrenic but this was unconfirmed when my sister-in-law was visiting. We were there with only our children. No man was in the house. We were interrupted by a very deep, male voice speaking in a language that sounded like Latin coming from the door way of the room. We quickly got up and looked in every room in the house to see if it was someone playing a recording (the voice was too low to be from anyone we knew). No one was inside or outside of the house. The house in which we lived was a duplex and shared with another family. They reported to me that books would fly off of shelves and that they would hear voices as well. One day, two adults showed up at our door step and asked if they could look around the house as they had grown-up in the house. I asked them if they noticed anything strange happening in the house. They reported similar experiences and also that the washer would turn on by itself. After the couple had       left, my sister-in-law came out from the room where she had been in. I told her about the couple and of our conversations. She informed me that a bottle of pills had fallen off of a shelf while the couple was visiting. Another house on base is also known to be haunted. My husband worked with security forces temporarily. Airman in that unit reported   that they are continually receiving calls from frantic residents. Many reported that they could hear heavy footsteps coming up the stairs and then pounding on their bedroom door. There had been a murder at that house in the mid 1990's. .
