The ghost of a lady with a bag tied around her head was perceived stacking pebbles in Church Spring Wash on a dark night. The arrival of the eye witness startled the spirit who then vanished. A local says that this ghost loves terrifying foolhardy people who have the courage to interrupt the serenity in Holden. Either way, this is a horrible phantom that you shouldn't go seeking.

The phantom of a bound up guy was perceived dragging a body from the ice cold water of Pioneer Creek around midnight. When the ghost was seen it faded away into the air.
