Hyde Park, Utah Ghost Tales I was sitting at my friends grandmothers home in Hyde Park, just down the road from where I lived at the time, We where chit chatting, and all of a sudden the lamp turned on...  I thought it was weird, so I turned it off, when my friend told me to turn it back on, cause there was a little girl that lived there, and she would be upset if I turned it off, and start knocking things off of the counter, and breaking glasses. Submitted by Chris Biggs In the daylight hours the locals in Hyde Park, Utah do what they do precisely the same as anywhere else, but after the sun has called it a       day a person may well witness some frightening things. Objects move around, talk out of the thin air. Not everyone trusts in the accounts the local residents tell, but seeing is believing and if you spend   the night here in Hyde Park, you may perhaps see a phantom. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The phantom of a flight attendant materialized looking in Beef Hollow at night. This is one of those ghosts that is spotted very often around here. Regardless of what, it sure is a menacing ghost that should be let alone. The ghost of an old Indian chief was spotted trying to seize something at State Dam in the early morning hours before sunrise. The spirit was indifferent that there was somebody else present. One of the locals determinedly declares that this spirit is the undeparted spirit of a long forgotten Hyde Park local person.
