Mayfield, Utah Ghost Tales    While growing up in Mayfield, it was common at our home to hear footsteps in the upper reaches of the house, at times even on the roof.  Once while inspecting the ''attic'' area of the older section of our home, my brother and I took this picture in the darkness.  It wasn't until months later (took a while to develop film in those days) did we get our picture back.  Here is what we saw. . The spirits of this municipality don’t leave anyone unscared. People who have never stayed overnight in this municipality will surely tell you it's a pack of lies, but a stopover in Mayfield, Utah will make anyone believe. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A lady holding her head beneath her arm has occasionally been perceived on the apex of one of the heights in the White Hills       on a dark night smoking a cigar.
