Several of the folks who live here allege this spirit is the stressed soul of a former New Harmony local resident. Regardless of what, it undoubtedly is a bloodcurdling ghost that should be avoided. A woman with the head of a demon has allegedly been witnessed on a handful of instances at the stroke of midnight soaring over the Harmony Mountains. It has been argued that this individual phantom is the phantom of a traveler that was murdered while passing through New Harmony many years ago. Regardless of what folks say, this ghost certainly is bloodcurdling; one that is preferably not disrupted.
