Provo, Utah Ghost Tales

Provo cemetery is very haunted. esp. near my great great grandfather's grave Jesse knight. There are orbs and one fall we went to the cemetery to visit my relatives graves , my cousin and I heard heavy footsteps behind us and no one was there... We ran... There should be an investigation of the Provo city cemetery.... I do love that cemetery because all my ancestors are buried there... but it is scary at night.

A young man from Texas with a rather memorable mustache know across Tarrant County was working at a haunted house as the chainsaw man when after a freakish accident involving a real chainsaw and a young woman sawed in half, guilt ate at him until finally, driven mad, he turned the saw on himself and was left in a bloody heap on the floor of the haunted house. Locals say that late at night you can hear the saw roar to life after the haunted house has long closed its doors. All we know for sure is that after dark this is one place to avoid.

Recently sighted near the Provo Tabernacle, this ghost had the faint shape of a young boy dressed in rags and swinging a lantern from his left hand, obviously from the 18th century. At the sighting he disappeared and we distinctly saw a lantern five miles up the road. All we know for sure is that this ghost is to be avoided at all costs.

A ragged looking young adult has often been sighted changing the lightbulbs at the base of the bell tower on BYU campus. People agree that this is the spirit of a custodian who on an icy winters day slipped while dusting the bells. Whatever you may hear, this spirit is bitter against the loss of his young life and should be avoided at all costs.

The bright hours in Provo, Utah are like bright hours anywhere else, but there are spirits in this town, and they show up during the night time. Statues turn around, screams coming from the thin air. Not everyone believes in the reports the locals tell, but not a hundred percent of the locals of Provo are still alive.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

A gentleman with no head has supposedly been made out on numerous instances appearing creepy in Cougar Stadium at night. One of the locals strongly alleges that this ghost is that of a resident who had a home here in Provo many years
ago. Anyway, it certainly is a creepy ghost that you shouldn't go seeking.
