Submitted by Paytra       Categories: home, man, sounds, girls, school My ghost story about Vernal isn't about my own experience but rather about the experience of my great-grandmother, mother of my grandmother who is a long-time Vernal     resident. I lived in Vernal from the age of 1 to about the age of 3 and 1/2 and lived in the old territorial governor's mansion before it was renovated. My great-grandma and great-grandpa had moved into a house in the area that used to be known as Hayden, UT around 1909-1910 and she was alone in the house with my grandmother who was around 1 or 2 years old because my great-grandpa was out hunting.
