A somewhat transparent man clad as the captain of a vessel materialized examining Brodie Draw in detail on a dark night. This particular ghost has been spotted repeatedly in this place. Residents say that this spirit is that of a resident who resided here in Daniel a long time ago. A large scary ghost was seen before dawn gazing across Forty Rod Flat. There are other tales with reference to this ghost in the neighborhood. A local man claims that this spirit takes pleasure in frightening people who are courageous enough to upset the peace in Daniel.
