Edgerton, Wyoming Ghost Tales I lived in Edgerton, Wyoming from 1983 to 1987... We lived in the trailer next to the post office, then in 1985 we bought a mobile home and had it moved just over the hill on a corner lot... When we were in the trailer by the post office, I was scolding my daughter, who was two at the time, and to make my point, I stomped my foot ONCE.... Next thing I knew, something stomped back THREE times.... Patricia looked at me and I just looked back, not knowing what to say to her... Another time I was waiting for my then husband to come home for breakfast... He hauled oils from the field to the dump stations... I heard the front screen door open and the big door open, but no one came in the bedroom... I got up and searched the house, but my daughter and I were the only ones there... When he did finally come in, I told him what had happened.. He told me the same thing had happened to him not too long before that.... He had been waiting for Patricia and I to come back from Casper and had been in the middle bedroom working out when he heard both doors       open and shut, he went looking for us and he was the only one there.... when we moved to the other location, our first Christmas in the house, I couldn't find part of my tree.. I searched all over but found nothing... A couple of weeks later when I went to move the tree box, I heard a noise.. I looked and there was the part I had been looking   for... There was an old man named George, who had a bunch of dogs and he used to tell me of things that would go ''bump in the night. '' I wish now I had written these things down... Quite a few goings on happened on the hill behind us way back when.. I imagine things are still the same.. One more thing, a friend of mine, who is now gone, told me that when she lived out on the prairie outside of town, she had seen an Indian squaw with a child in her arms.. When the squaw saw her looking at her, she just disappeared.... These are the things I know about this area... I am fortunate because I can sense these things, I consider it a great gift, but, then again, things like this are not for the faint of heart...
