In the mid 90s we went to the fort on our family vacation for less than a day on our way through the state. In the cavalry barracks my mother and I went upstairs while my father and brother went downstairs and to the other end of the long building.
We were looking at the blocked off display of the beds and such when the door behind us slammed shut. We tried opening it but it wouldn't budge. We thought it was my little brother being a jerk and the door

held shut for maybe less than a minute before it released.
We expected to see my brother there or headed down the stairs, but there was no one. We were very creeped out and decided to not tell anyone about what had happened since
|
they would think we were crazy or lying.
