Greybull, Wyoming Ghost Tales While driving through Greybull, I observed a rider on a horse with a flaming head near the bluffs on the North side of the river. I call him Spooky Willy; others call him Hot Head Fred. He is often sighted after midnight, and rumor has it, that he is looking for his soul so he can finally retreat. Things go down in this place that can't be explained. Several residents say there are no ghosts, but the things that go down here in Greybull during the moonlight hours will freak you out. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A big menacing phantom may every now and then be made out by Garnett Dam at night gazing at the water. In any event, this is an unfriendly spirit that should be let alone. The ghost of a young-looking man in a confederate uniform was made out walking a Terrier in       the early morning hours before sunrise on a murky Greybull residential road. The witness got freaked out and ran off. The ghost of a shackled up guy materialized looking through flat windows in Greybull on a dark night. The ghost did not appear to be bothered by the bystanders.
