Panic stricken by the watchers the phantom faded away into the night. Locals argue that this spirit is the struggling soul of a long dead Lusk local person. The spirit of an elderly woman hauling a firearm has regularly been perceived before sunrise fluttering over the Hat Creek Breaks. In any event, it's a menacing ghost that you would not want to bump into on a dark night.
