There is a house on Yonkee street that is haunted, I moved there in 1978, I was 5 years old, MANY sightings of strange things, one was of a man standing with what seemed to be a knife in our basement, others were of a black hooded person with no face, there were 4 girls and only 3 of us seen or heard things. At different times we were woken up around 2:30 am- 3am hearing our names being called. When we searched the house we found everyone sleeping and no one was there? There were many times we were in our family room in the basement recording songs as most teenagers do, but there was one time while my sisters were in their room, I pushed record and was messing around on the tape, my sister came in to the room mad as heck because I ruined her tape, well in review of the damages I did we were shocked to hear a male's voice telling us,'' It's in the bathroom'', I did not hear the voice when I was there it was only after we played it back. We all decided to rewind it and let our mother hear it, so we got it ready and pushed play to see if we

were at the right spot and all of the sudden the tape recorder started eating the tape and we pushed stop and took it out and repaired it, rewound it and took it up to her. We pushed play and you could hear the voice plain as day. My mothers face was blank! She told us to all stay upstairs and to not go back down stairs, we didn't listen we felt as

if something was trying to tell us something, so we put out tape recorder in the bathroom and shut the door. We never caught any more voices but there were many other things that happened in that house. Many of our friends in Sheridan can tell you first hand.
