Custom Search Anvik, Alaska Ghost Sightings   I cannot explain what happened but I know what I heard and saw while living in the old rectory building in Anvik. I lived in that place for 6 months with three of my kids who are grown up now. I heard little footsteps in the Hall way while watching TV at night when getting up to Check on my children they were sound asleep. Lights would go on then off at night and loud knocking on the Walls along with animal like scratches.     No tracks outside the next morn to show someone was behind the House knocking on the walls. We once heard a very loud knocking coming from the attic and there was nothing but insulation up there upon investigating. I moved when my three year old said mommy there is a ghost in the closet.
