One night, I awoke in my bed in my dorm room and witnessed a dark shape of a man in the room with myself and my sleeping roommate. I noticed that the man was wearing a suit with a red tie. The man looked over at me, turned away and disappeared. I called out to my roommate ''chris, chris, did you see that! '' but he didn't wake up. I went back to sleep not wanting to wake up my roommate as the specter was now     gone. The next day I told Chris about this, and later on in the week, he gave me a possible explanation for what I saw. He said that in the fire station on base, a young airman had hanged himself over a lost girlfriend. The deceased airman lived in the same dorm we lived in. I have only been here for a few weeks, and I cannot begin to tell anyone how scared I am. I came here from Holloman Air Force Base which happened to have a lot of weird things happening. A few times in the middle of the night my dog woke up out of a dead sleep, and started barking and growling and trying to attack something that was not there. Typically my dog does not do things like that. I put him up on the bed with me and calmed him down, and we tried going back to sleep. I wanted to believe it was just a bad dream or something that he was having. Shortly after getting back to sleep it happened again. He kept repeating the same process, but after a while I would hear my front door open, and close. I was thinking perhaps it was my husband getting home early, but knowing that cannot be. I went to check it out like most people would. I found my door was unlocked. That scared me half to death because it has been locked since my husband has left about a week ago.
