Most folks in Gustavus, Alaska are happily uninformed of the shocking mysteries this municipality possesses; some long deceased people from the past have come back here. Ghosts are so common in this town; many residents don’t even fret about it anymore. Folks who have never stayed overnight in this city will laugh and say it's a pack of lies, but not all the inhabitants of Gustavus are still alive.

The ghost of a severely burned lady has allegedly been spotted on numerous occasions after midnight giving a guided exploration of Gilman Glacier to a party of spirits. If you talk to the residents, this spirit loves startling foolish people who are bold enough to disrupt the tranquility in Gustavus.
