Chairs travel around, words out of nothing. People who have never stayed for a few days in this town will say to you it's a pack of lies, but the living dead may well show themselves to you if you stay an extra day in Anderson. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of an old sorceress was noticed in a building near Anderson. When the bystander appeared the ghost fled. A man with a sizeable hole through his torso was seen trying to find a glove beside a parked Chevy in an Anderson parking lot at night. The appearance of the bystander       startled the spirit who then faded away. A woman's body with a raccoon's head appeared in Anderson River Park at midnight dining on a cookie. The ghost spoke of avenging a killing. Several of the people here say this ghost is the stressed soul of a long gone Anderson local resident. A partly decomposed human body was seen at Middle Stake   Fish Weir around midnight smoking a cigar. The watcher was frightened and fled. The ghost of a grower wearing a straw hat has often been seen in an Anderson area supermarket, marching the aisles. It's been asserted that this exact ghost is the ghost of a visitor that was murdered while passing through Anderson in the past. A youthful girl dressed in a bloody wedding gown is regularly seen trying to locate someone by Churn Creek Bottom. If you talk to the local residents, this ghost is that of a local resident who resided here in Anderson many years ago. A female with a bottle-green face is known to have been distinguished on numerous instances looking down into the water at Panorama Point before sunrise. The ghost of a mail carrier can be spotted very frequently exploring Happy Valley in detail late at night. A guy's body with the head of a bat is now and then noticed hovering over China Garden in the early morning hours before sunrise. The ghost of a guy clutching a sword has allegedly been observed on frequent occasions at Bear Creek late at night tossing chunks of concrete into the flowing water.
