A woman with a sea-green face has occasionally been witnessed very late at night gazing across Bell Valley. In any event, it's a bloodcurdling ghost that you wouldn't wish to come across before dawn.

A gentleman with a
sword in his head is every now and then distinguished up on the pinnacle of The Beehive smoking a pipe.

The spirit of a mail carrier has supposedly been witnessed on numerous occasions by Cold Spring late in the night reading a newspaper.

A man's body with the head of a dog may every so often be perceived flinging pebbles into the stream at Biter Creek at the stroke of midnight. A resident declares that this spirit is the struggling soul of a long gone Angwin person who lived here.
