I moved to the area five years ago. I don't think my house is haunted but I think the trail we live near by is haunted. We have a ghostly, dark figure- about 6 foot even- that that walks on our porch. I think someone is about to knock or ring the doorbell and then nothing happens. I can hear the foot falls. It would be impossible for someone to get back off the porch quickly. The drop would break a leg if they ditched over the side. It happens weekly. Something knocks on the walls.

Constant feeling of being watched. Never felt that before in my life. Checked for natural causes - no sign of animals or explainable reasons for the sound. Lately it is turning the door handles to the guest bedroom and opens the door.

My son, a young adult that is extremely practical has seen a dark figure walk through his bedroom. I hear whispers and the sound of a crying child. When I was working outside I thought I saw a tall man on my deck. My deck is locked up tight and no one else was home. I don't have neighbors close by. I know sound can carry but not as if it is in the same room. In fact as I type this the tapping has started again. Like it knows I am writing about it and wants the attention. I live off the historical American Trail. I wonder just how many people have died near to where we live? Oh and that cemetery by Lucky's is still there.
