The first night around Midnight we were awakened by loud people outside our 2nd floor window having a good time. We looked outside to what we thought could be the courtyard but we couldn't see anyone. So the next morning we requested a new room not wanting to be kept awake yet again and we told the Guy at the front desk about the partiers. He said they     close the courtyard Early in the night and no one should've been out there at Midnight but we didn't think anything of it. That night we went on a ghost walking tour with about 12-15 other people. The 4th stop was our hotel. Apparently it was a high-profile hotel ''for the stars'' back in the 20's through the 40's. The tour guide said people often hear loud partiers in the courtyard and no one is ever there. Yikes! Ps: she also said people on the top floors (where our new room was) often smell smoke which is Likely from a 1930's fire in the building across   (continued on the next page...)
