I have lived in Bakersfield all my life and have had some unusual things happen to me. About a week ago my daughter called me around midnight freaking out! She explained to me that when her and her boyfriend was in their master bathroom that she was holding her digital camera and accidently took a picture. Her boyfriend (Joe) was about to delete the photo when he realized something on the bottom of the photo. She sent me the picture and I was blown away! There was a picture of a man with curly black hair. He had a very round face with a tiny nose and very round glasses. We had no idea who this could be! My daughter lived in a three-bedroom apartment with her five children. That night the older boys were with their father, and the babies were asleep.
A few days later I went over to her apartment to try to see if I could duplicate the photo. I took some pictures inside the apartment, and in one of the photos I took had something black that looked like hair next to her arm. Later on when I was at my bank, I was talking to a teller and was telling him about the photo. He said that about four or five years ago he helped a friend move out of an apartment because it was haunted! I never told him where my daughter lived. As he was talking he said that his friend lived in some yellow apartments and said the same name of the street my daughter lived on. I asked him to explain a little more in detail, and he continued to explain the exact location of my daughter's apartment. He did not know the number of the apartment but knew that it was upstairs. It was just a weird coincidence!.

I lived in Bakersfield from 1996 to 2005. We lived just off Rosedale Highway and Allen Road to the northwest. We could see the Albertson's from my window before the other houses went up. Our property was part of the Morales Ranch (not historical) and was made up of 15 acres that had been split into 15 lots. We lived next to the ranch house. It is important to note that the Morales Ranch was a recent property, so I, in no way, think this ghost had anything to do with the Morales family.
We had a barn with a large garage door shop in the back yard. This was a one-piece door that would blow open in the winds, especially in the wintertime. During the winter, as you will attest to if you lived or stayed in Bakersfield at any time in the winter, there is usually a thick fog, lasting from 9 pm to 6 am, and sometimes not lifting for days even. Since I was a young boy, I would be sent out to shut the shop door when it was blown open. I would feel someone watching me, but never could put my hands on it- or my eyes. Finally, I was about 16 when one winter night the shop door blew open. I turned on the flood light for the back yard and found that it was burned out. Being over my 'fear' of ghosts and the dark, I did not care, and took a flashlight to get through the fog. It was a particularly odd night, since in places in the yard the fog was very dense, and not five feet away it would be clear, like a miniature version of flying through clouds. Usually, it was a blanket covering. As I made my way to the shop, I felt for the first time in several years the same feeling, that someone was watching me. I closed the door and turned off the light I carried, and spun around. For a brief moment, fully manifested, I saw a young girl, my age, Mexican, in a wedding or quinceanera dress. She was all white, glowing a bit brighter than the fog itself would have allowed, and looked sad. The apparition appeared to me and was located some distance, about 30 feet, away, by the side yard to my house, where my room was.
