On a night when nobody was home except me and our 2 dogs things got freaky. I was watching TV in our living room my dogs were next to me. They suddenly started growling at the foyer then at the doorway to the dining room. Footsteps ran down the stairs and the partition doors at the base of those stairs banged. I was freaked. The room got really cold and the TV started changing channels on its own. My dogs and I quickly left the house and waited for my family to come home 3 hours latter. My Mom asked why I was outside and I couldn't tell her.
For the last three years I was in that house a black shape started to appear in the corner of my room and eventually moved to the foot of my bed. My bed would shake and I was hearing something calling my name! My Mom and I prayed a lot for protection. One day I was sitting in bed reading and this dark shape started to appear again. I prayed, grabbed my Bible and threw it at the shape commanding it to leave in the name of God. It disappeared. Afterwards I smelled very bad smell coming from my sister's

room.
I only stayed in that house another 2 years before moving to another town to live with other family. These experiences weren't the only ones I've had in my life many of which are in Kern County.

to say is I live on East Plans and Cottonwood road and they have some strange spirits around my home. My husband seen a spirit with no head going right through the fence. My daughter saw a girl walking in our living room while she was sitting in total darkness, talking on the phone. She said she was tall with her hair in her face and when my daughter gasped the figure stopped walking and stood still. More crazy things happen here so many to express here.

I have lived in Bakersfield all my life and have had some unusual things happen to me, but about a week ago my daughter called me around midnight freaking out! She explained to me that when her and her boyfriend was in their master bathroom that she was holding her digital camera and accidently took a picture. Her boyfriend (Joe) was about to delete the photo when he realized something on the bottom of the photo, she sent me the picture and I was blown away! There is a picture of a man with

curly black hair, very round face, tiny nose and very round glasses. We have know idea who this could be! she has a 3 bedroom apartment with 5 children, the older boys were with there father and the babies were asleep. A few days ago I went over to her apartment to try to see if I could duplicate the photo, and in one of the photos I took had something black that looks like hair nest to her arm. Then on this last Thursday I was at my bank and was talking to a male teller and was telling him about the photo when he asked where her house was located, I told him that she lives in a apartment and he said that about 4 or 5 years ago he helped a friend of his move out of a apartment because it was haunted! I never told him where my daughter lived and as he was talking he said that his friend lived in some yellow apartments and said the same name of the street my daughter lives on. I asked him to explain a little more in detail and he continued to explain the exact location of my daughters apartment. He did not know the number of the apartment but knew that it was upstairs! Who knows....but it was just a wierd coincidence!!.
