Earlier today I was driving up Beaumont ave, close to Bogart park,and I was told that in a certain part of the road to put my car in neutral, my car drove at a good speed even though the road was uphill then we made another test we poured water on the road, and the water ran to the up side instead of the down side it was an unbelievable sight, I still can't explain how that happened.

Comment by Al: This is not unusual. It is a mis-perception of the orientation of terrain. A close by spot on the highway to either angles, forest or arrowhead (can't remember which) displays the same phenomenon. A side road appears to be oriented downhill and cars roll backwards, but in fact the entire terrain is angled. The local mountains make you think you're starting on level ground when in fact you're not. Other places around the US have the same occurrence. Such conditions can really throw you while driving at night, especially if you are tired or have passed through a tunnel.
