Cambria, California Ghost Tales I was in cambria for a few days in the vacation house I own; it has been around for a while and when I take my dogs there they won't go in this one room; the only room that no one sleeps in- EVER!. The second night it was so bad we moved the chair and when we did the creaking stopped. It was spooky!. An incredibly terrifying ghost may frequently be noticed hurling boulders down near the water at Abalone Cove. People who have spotted this phantom claim this phantom is the undeceased spirit of a long departed Cambria local. The ghost of an aged woman clutching a rifle can   be distinguished very often at Moonstone Beach taking a moonlight-hour dip. Folks here declare that this ghost is the ghost of a vacationer that was killed while journeying through Cambria in the past. The ghost of an elderly Indian chief has once in a while been noticed around midnight heading a lead exploration of Swallow Rock to a group of spirits. A local declares that this ghost is that of a local person who had a house here in Cambria before the present. In any event, this ghost sure is frightening; one that you wouldn't want to meet in the early morning hours. A pitch black rat that shape-shifted into a female is every now and then spotted downing gas from a pump at a refueling station in Cambria. The phantom of a youthful female clothed as a maid is rumored to have been witnessed on a few instances at the stroke of midnight drifting along Green Valley Creek. The spirit of a young-looking cowboy can every now and then be perceived at the stroke of midnight gazing across Palmer Flats. No matter what, this is an antagonistic spirit that any normal person wouldn't want to meet.
