Campo, California Ghost Tales Last Saturday October 25,2008 at 2:04 A.M.  my boyfriend and I encountered a ghostly sighting over on Campo road right before the mile marker 5. We came around a sharp corner and in the middle of no where we came across a long black drive way with about 6 humans standing there. We had our bright on coming around the sharp corner when a lady in her mid 40's in a long blue night gown standing next to the main road staring at us straight into our eyes. She never flinched or moved. It was almost not real. I looked about ten feet behind her and a group of men standing in a small circle turned to look as we past but, never moved there bodies. There was also a young girl maybe 8 or so. These encounters didn't seem real. They had no shoes on.  Their feet, hands, and faces were so white they were see through. The ladies face in the night gown was almost twisted around. They stood still like statues as we went by yet fallowed us with there eyes and heads. Then just diapered out of know where. Who were they? Why did they get our attention? I don't understand. In our home there are two men, which we believe are soldiers. When they are present there is a smell of pipe tobacco, and of sweat. My son   has seen a man figure a few times in the middle of the night standing in our living room. Myself (RED) has been touched by one of the men a couple times, My husband watched him touch my leg and grab my hair. One of them likes to hang out in the bathroom and lock the door on us. We also believe they had a dog who is still with them. Our two dogs play with a unseen friend. My husband (WAR) has had marking on his back and sides, that look like dog scratches but he felt nothing and there not scratches they look like a red line almost like a bruise. There is a little boy who wonders all over the complex who wears a white shirt. A middle age woman who peaks out the window of a condemned apartment, who everyone believes is a teacher. We (all who live here) also know of the evil man who comes in everyone's home and gets violent with our stuff. My neighbor hears children playing all the time, and sometimes see's them in the hall. Her cupboards are found open, and she'll hear them being slammed when no ones home but her.
