this answer to our dilemma. He said rumor had it that a family of four with two dogs was traveling either on or around the area of the frontage road and I-10 area. Then they were either struck down walking or driving in a wagon or car. Some said that what we saw was the souls of these lost folks trying to find their way to their destination. They may be a sort of poltergeist (lost souls) trapped between the two dimensions of the living and the dead.
have to admit whoever or whatever they were they seemed more normal than anything or anyone I have ever met. They appeared very clean. The dogs' hair
shined in the sun. The parents' and children's clothing were starched and pressed. The shoes they were wearing shiny and un-tattered. They seemed to be happy and looked as if the walk was doing them good. They did not seem to look lost or in the least bit bothered or stressed, which was quite strange in its own way I would guess.|

Comment by John: I am the one who wrote this story a while back. Seems things such as this never seem to leave our memories. I came back to see if anyone else had a similar story to tell. Here's another one for your books. Man you just can't make this stuff up! Yesterday while on my iPad I tried to pull up some airline flights from ORD to FLL (Chicago O'Hare to Fort Lauderdale) just to see the availability of me possibly flying standby as I retired from United/Continental. Well after I entered the FLL code my computer came back saying no such airport. I re-entered it and again no such code. Here's where it gets better. I rechecked the spelling and found the FLL had been misspelled. It read FLL...B.... As I went back to backspace the lower case b and instead of erasing it it typed an additional ... ob... (bob.) Well guess what, my brother Bob passed away a few days ago, and I guess this was his way of letting me know everything on the ''other side'' was ok? Have fun, and please comment to these posts.
