1920s or 1930s. The thing that caught my eye was the derby style black hat he was wearing and the suit he had on. It seemed very odd and out of place.
I also began to think ''where did he come from because there was no one that passed in front of me?'' I continued down the stairs, the man leading the way. At the bottom of the stairs he made a right and disappeared momentarily into a short hallway. When I reached the bottom and entered the hallway I was

confronted with two choices: go left to the men's room or right to the ladies' room. I obviously chose the left and entered the men's room. When I entered

I expected to cross the path of the man with the odd derby, but found myself alone and the stalls all empty. I must say I instantly began to feel an odd sense that I was not alone but could not see anyone. The feeling still makes the hair on my neck stand up when I think about it. I did my business, washed, and left the men's room.
As I climbed the stairs I kept glancing back in hopes that I would see the man again. I did not! The rest of the afternoon
