I have worked for Hexcel nearly 30 years. We're located right next to the cemetery. There have been many accounts of paranormal activity in our facility over the years. I was very much a skeptic until I had two ''experiences.''.|

I just met these 2 people in SF for Kings Day, and they told me this story about his shirt being tugged and seeing a dog. We were talking about Dublin because I grew up there since the 1960s. She said that the cemetery is haunted. Before she finished her story my girlfriend said to me ''you should tell her your story about the cemetery. '' Jen said ''the cemetery is haunted''. That's when her boyfriend told us of his story. Then he asked about my story. I told him about my friends and me used to hang out behind the cemetery in a tree fort back in the 70s. We would have to walk through the cemetery to get to the fort, day or night.
Well, one day me and a friend hung out there and had some beers until the night. I passed out there and woke up about nine pm. Then we walked home and thought nothing of it. Well, guess what happened next? That's right! A spirit or two followed me home and haunted me for about 2 years. I woke up at night with breathing right over me. My bedroom door would close when I woke up. Lights would not turn on when I was there alone. The front door wouldn't open when I would run out, eventually it would when I said ''stop it. '' My older brothers told my mom that my room was freezing, and it felt bad in there. She had to sprinkle holy water in there when I wasn't around but didn't know about it until years later. I would wake up with scratches on my back.
To this day I don't like sleeping in total darkness. Eventually it did stop as I got older and wasn't always home. As I got older I would ride my bike to the cemetery and say that I'm very sorry for disrespecting the dead. Being Native American I am not supposed to mess with the paranormal, but to respect it. Though I sense when spirits are around, I show respect and acknowledge their presence.

Today the boyfriend and I went to the Copper Skillet for brunch.... As we were heading back home we decided to make a detour for the Dublin historical site and the old pioneer cemetery... We walked around all of the area reading and marveling at the old tombstones.
