The ghost of a man sporting a police outfit may be perceived repeatedly gathering wood for a fire in Shasta National Forest around midnight. Folks here who have seen this spirit argue this spirit is almost certainly the undeparted spirit of a person who used to reside here in Dunsmuir. No matter what folks utter, it sure is a terrifying ghost that you shouldn't go searching for.

The spirit of a security guard with a bullet hole in his forehead is sometimes distinguished
traveling on a bike on a murky road next to Dunsmuir. A local person says that this phantom is the tormented soul of a long dead Dunsmuir local.

The ghost of an elderly guy with a huge white beard has allegedly been perceived on a small number of instances checking out Box Canyon in detail on a dark night. One of the locals firmly alleges that this ghost is the ghost of a traveler that was murdered while journeying through Dunsmuir some time ago.
