Ahhh where do I begin with hauntings in Escondido? I am convinced that there is some plague/curse put over this town for many reasons. I would love to know if someone of importance once did put a curse on Escondido and why.
You can just *feel* the spirit world running rampant around here especially at night. Another time I will get into some of my stories such as 3 of my homes being haunted and also my questhaven/elfin forest experiences.

Comment by Rob: I'd be interested in some of your stories. I plan on doing some hunting here soon and am looking for some high volume activity. Ranintomailbox9 @gmail.com.
Comment by Holly: My mom moved to an apartment in Escondido (sorry but I can't remember the address it was a long time ago). I went to stay with her for a week, and I had some very weird experiences which I guess I should post as my own story. So I've also wondered about Escondido. It has some beautiful places though.
Comment by Jenn: The bloodiest battle in California during the Mexican-American war was fought in San Pasqual valley, so I wouldn’t be surprised if this area is haunted. When we first moved into our house near Kit Carson Park, we realized pretty quickly our home was haunted. It took us a few years to realize the following thing though because we’re not social people, but ALL the houses in that area are haunted. Or a lot of them anyway. A few years after we had moved in we had a birthday party for my little brother. We invited a kid who lived in the neighborhood. His mom came to the party too, and she started chatting with our mom. At one point the kid’s mom hesitantly asked “Does anything... strange...ever happen in your house?” My mom said “Like... ‘Supernatural’ strange?” “Yeah...” “Yeah actually...” And that’s when the other mom told us that that kind of stuff was happening to a ton of families in the neighborhood. She said people had even brought in mediums to find out what was going on. So yeah I fully believe this area is haunted. .
