Custom Search Esparto, California Ghost Sightings Esparto PAGE 1   2   3     Esparto is a rural town along hwy 16 West of i-505 between the small town of Madison and capay. On county rd 22 West of county rd 85b their is a place called the Capay cemetery. A plaque in the cemetery reads: ''these grounds hold the graves of Pioneer settlers in the Capay Valley and lamb Valley and those of esparto's Early families. Established in 1876 by the trustees of Capay Lodge no. 230 independent order of Odd     Fellows it was the first public cemetery serving Capay valley''. On one night around Midnight or so I happened to be in the cemetery alone. Because of my job I would frequently drive through the place and make sure no one was vandalizing head stones stealing equipment or disturbing the peace. I happened to stop near the restroom area and get out of my vehicle. As I turned toward the south I saw a woman walking along the most southern road way near county rd 22. I could see that the woman was a White woman wearing a long White dress walking toward the entrance of   (continued on the next page...)
