Custom Search Forbestown, California Ghost Sightings Forbestown PAGE 1   2     We were traveling through gold country and stopped in Forbstown on the way back. There is this ghost town there that's now a museum and tourist attraction an old mining town. It's Only open during summer months but we could still see it through the fence. I heard stories that it's haunted by an evil spirit but I think there might be some other spirits there too. We stopped there late evening and it was getting dark. The     whole place just creeped me out and the time of Day made it even more creepy. I had goosebumps the entire time I was there and Felt that there was something there. And I was scared about teh evil spirit following me home. Anyways the area was fenced off but I took some pictures and video through the Fence hoping to capture a ghost. I went through the pictures and didn't see anything but when I was filming the old church the screen on my camera just started flickering and as soon as moved away it stopped.
