There are some rock rental cabins in the Pine Valley Trailer Park in the heart of Guatay, Ca that dated to at least the 1920s or earlier. They have a history of being haunted. The cabin farthest to the east on Old Hwy. 80, with detached garage, had several sightings by people I know. In the 90s, my husband' sister and her family rented it. While my husband was on the floor playing a game with her oldest child in the front living room, they saw who they thought was the Aunt, who was expected to visit at anytime, walking past them into another room while they concentrated on their game. Her legs walked right past them. When they both called out to her, she didn't answer. No one appeared to be in the house upon further inspection. Later the Aunt arrived in her car up the driveway. Their youngest daughter often complained of feeling scared of her back bedroom, like someone was watching her. She would often sleep in her parents' main bedroom, which was the largest.
Years later, my daughter's friend's mom lived in the same cottage and reported it was haunted by a woman in turn of the century dress, whose apparition would appear to walk around the house, but would stop at the doorway of the largest bedroom and never entered that particular room. On one occasion, she and her mother heard the female ghost cussing! Her son also felt the rear bedroom had a darkness that made him afraid. Her mother was a medium of sorts, and she said there was a lot of activity in that house. They said a lot of other people they knew reported activity there as well.

There are many for gosh sakes this is full of Indians and old miners the pine Valley house was a place for the miners to relax. I have been there many times and know doors have been openened for me and others.
Once this little boy whose mom worked there ran up and said. There is a lady upstairs that talks to me. I don't need to defend it. They are here.
