I went down to Half Moon Bay a couple of years ago with some buddies of mine. We were down at the beach when this guy came up towards us. I said 'how's it going' but he didn't reply back. I thought that was kind of rude so I remarked to my friend about it. He just looked at me and said 'who the hell are you talking about, there's no one there'. I told him 'that guy over there' and my friend couldn't see him. Then he looked back at me and vanished. This
was the weirdest thing I have ever experienced.|

Comment by Jana: My daughter and I were at Half Moon Bay last year and it was very foggy. We were walking on the rocks by the shore when we saw a man in the distance on the rocks. He had a long yellow old-fashioned rain coat on and appeared to come towards us quickly, not struggling as most would do on the large bulky rocks.
We got off the rocks as quickly as we could and started to run. We turned around to check and he was almost off the rocks getting onto the sand. We ran very fast, and halfway to the stairs leading up to the hotel I turned around and he was gone.
Once we got to the hotel we looked out at the rocks and sand and could not see anyone. It was really creepy!.
