We both saw a window open by itself. We could clearly see that there was no one there to open it. We started screaming and ran home. I always felt that our house was haunted too.  We would hear what sounded like someone walking at night through the house.  When I got older and went to the College of Sequoias in Visalia I ran into a boy who had lived near our     house when I was young. I hadn't seen him since I was in the 4th grade because he had moved away. He asked me if my house had been haunted.  I was surprised that he knew.  He had lived across the field from our house.  He told me that his house had been haunted too!  He said that the animals water troughs (full of water) would be moved across the field during the night somehow. He said another little girl named Stella who had lived near us had told him that she would see a man dressed in black walk into her room at night and sit at the foot of her bed.
