Homeland California was the main passway in the cowboy ages. Around Homeland there has been sightings of a ''faceless'' cowboy seen walking around. One night I was with my dad, my grandpa, our friend, and my uncle, in the garage when we heard a faint voice saying ''they're here''. We sat frozen and walked outside looked down the dirt road and saw a tall thin cowboy ducking and dodging as if he were in a gun fight. We went back in the garage and it was quiet for the rest of the night.

Heading out of Hemet towards Mountain Center you pass an old turkey ranch (private road); an add is placed from time to time to rent out a double wide mobile home near creek. Lovely view! Cheep rent! Never has renters long though the mobile was site of double murder (parents killed by son with 12 gauge shotgun ! ) 1960s. Submitted by anonymous
Comment by Greg: I know the people who own that property and have never heard any stories like the one you posted.
